Does it look real from close up?

The foliage is dense fabric and the trunk is moulded with the texture of bark. At arm's length on a shelf it passes for a living bonsai; close up it is clearly a well-made artificial one, which is the honest answer.

Can the branches be reshaped?

Yes. The branches have wire in them, so you can fan them out, sweep them to one side or tighten the crown, and they keep the shape you set.

It is best kept out of harsh, direct sun. In normal indoor light the foliage keeps its colour for years.

Is the pot included?

Yes. It arrives planted in its weighted pot, ready to put in place. The only assembly is a minute spent fluffing out the branches.
